Deleting Your Data

You can delete your Link the Flick account and everything we hold about you at any time, from inside the game. It takes three taps and no request to us.

How to delete your account

1. Open Link the Flick and sign in.
2. Tap your avatar in the top right to open your account panel.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then tap again to confirm.

The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. You are signed out as soon as it finishes, and you can sign in again afterwards to start a new account from scratch.

What gets deleted

Everything: your sign-in identity, your handle and avatar, your whole puzzle history including your streak, and any chain you have shared — a link you posted stops working the moment the account goes, and the page it led to says so. Nothing is kept in a recoverable form and nothing is retained for later.

Three things are worth knowing. Puzzle progress you made before signing in lives in your own browser's storage, not in our database — deleting your account does not touch it, and clearing your browser data is what removes it. If you signed in with Google or X, deleting your account here does not delete that account; it only removes ours, along with the link between them. And where you shared a chain, the social network you posted it to may keep its own copy of the preview picture it fetched at the time — the link is dead either way, but a thumbnail beside an old post is theirs to expire, not ours.

If you can't sign in

If you have lost access to the account you signed in with, email [email protected] from the address you used and we will delete it for you.
